Hi pedrog, Yep, I believe I got the right poster this time. I'm not in the least qualified to comment on the mechanical/scientific portion of this conversation, but I can comment on the CPR part. As I used to tell the guys at the fire station 'if it comes to CPR, I got compressions!' I was riding in a vehicle with a guy at work the other day and he takes 400 miligrams of lasic a day. Whoops, gees I'm old... I had just read something that Julio had posted on another topic and contacting him was still in my head. I just noticed that it was "pedrog" that had the open sight question this topic. My apologizes, and may the same 'sermon' (dang I wrote a long post) apply to the needs of pedrog! i hope it helped. Thanks for the mulligan, Jeffby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, Absolutely beautiful rifle/carbine Gary! That is the original Barnes look and style that I fell in love with. It is like going back in time to see one on your site again. It has a look that takes me back to the pioneer and explorer times where men depended upon their firearm for life and liveihood. Hi Julio, Long time no see/talk digitally with. I don't know if you remember meby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, What are the diminsions of these earrings? Can you add something to the picture for scale, like maybe a quarter. Also, and this is probably anathma, but can you add a stamp or two once the hammered piece is done? I'm still thinking about those turtles. Sorry for all of the questions and thanks for your time. And the same to you and everyone who reads this forum! Have a blessed and wonderful holiday. Jeffby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, "You need 18x up to target shoot." Thank goodness for that piece of advice! And here i thought it was my 60 year old eyes all along. Yep, it's time to go scope shopping Later, Jeffby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks for the update, will keep praying!by jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh, Amen to that. Whenever I have to ship anything shooting related (except firearms that you HAVE to state on the manifest) I just pack it and tell them it's machine parts. Why should they care that I have to ship a reloading machine back to the manufacturer for warranty service. "Oh, it makes bullets, that can't be good (said with eyes rolling)!" Nope, better just to avoid it all to start wby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, You know that I like your pocket cases, and that one is gorgeous. It's cool that you were able to salvage (so to speak) a part made in MD to add to one made in FL. I think there is a 'life theme' going on there somewhere for you and Kelly both! Keep on keeping on Buddy! Later, Jeffby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Yes Sir Gary, I'll take those groups any day! I only managed to snag one of those Simmons shotgun scopes when they were around, but they really do work well. I picked up one of their new (to me anyway - don't really know how long they have been on the market) "8 Point" scopes to put on a .22 rifle a while back. $50.00 in a local (not big box) sporting goods store. Made in China, of course,by jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, That is a very smooth looking design. I like the use of the materials as well as the blade extension. Reminds me of a Japanese higo no kami. Nice little working knives that they still make. I do prefer the locking mechanism myself though. Great piece of work, Jeffby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Hey Gary, Oh yeah, the Sea Turtle stamp would be great! Kelly is right on that one. I'll keep looking! Jeffby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Ok Gary, I missed it, but if you make two more (or other similar turtle pieces) I have a daughter and daughter in law that 'need' them for Christmas. We have a turtle hospital and rescue center here on Jekyll Island and they both love it, and the sea turtles, and visit every time they come here. I should have pulled the trigger instead of asking questions... Silly me! Thanks for the reply anby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Sorry to hear that Gary. Already sending them up. God Bless her and the entire family. Jeffby jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Not a clue... What's a PodCast anyway, a new kind of space age fishing reel?!? LATER, Jeff P.S. i went for a 'wifi radio' and love it (but my whole family are radio users - Mom and Dad were licensed ham operators). 55,000 stations and I play it through my home stereo. They are relatively inexpensive to, especially compared to Apple stuff... Check em out.by jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, Is that turtles that I see on the pendant? What is the size of the piece? it is beautiful! Thanks much, Jeffby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Hi Gary, It's nice to see that beautiful piece sold. Kurt is a smart man! Congrats on the anniversary too, have a nice lunch out. Later, Jeffby jcwward2 - Gary's Galleries
Gary, I have always admired the targets that you made for the rendezvous/gathering that you held (although I was only able to attend one of them in person I also loved seeing them in the photos on the site). I would love to have a set of 'lightweight' 'regular airgun' targets for backyard use. Not a set of 40 pound each big bore targets, but some unique 'Barnes Inspired' backyard items. Hey Gary, Is that still the old Simmons diamond reticle shotgun scope on there? It sure looks familiar. If so, it must have 500,000 miles on it, um, I mean shots through it. That sure is a nice rifle!by jcwward2 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
