There’s been a lot of life in the shop in the past months. Do you recall this Lion Case? After it remained here for a while, Kelly decided that I should carry it. I’ve done so for at least a year, and I love it. My Pocket keeps it polished. The catch is true and Crisp. The catch on my 35 year old case is also true and clear. I carry them both. I want to show some closer detail. Anyone who has seen the actual work ... perhaps with magnification, has been very pleased. Let’s see how this batch of photos transfer ... These are a few of the New Die Struck Barnes Pieces. I hand carved/engraved the Master Die from which the main body of each piece is constructed. These are a Jewelry Grade Aluminum Alloy. I often use this because it remains bright and clean. Sterling Silver, on the other hand; quickly turns dark with oxide. This Alloy is also quite light. A great mix of features. 1). The Cross. 30-35 years ago, I made a series of Beautiful Damascus Daggers. There was quite a variety, but under one family (Mosaic Pearl with Wire Damascus Blades, and Cold Spun Copper Ferrels - some heavily Gold Plated by Gary). These were the last of my Grandmother’s years. She had a nice Town Home with an upstairs full Apartment. Thank you Kurt! And I’m glad Diane was pleased to. The Ladies know quality. Kelly just ordered some new tee shirts for me. Some I have are more holes than shirt. “Very Nice to Hear” During the visit of a friend, today; I got a great compliment from my wife. The newest Barnes Mosaic 97 was laying on the table. It became part of our conversation. Note in pic 1 and 7, you can see the visible “Hamom”. The shadowy line which forms to delineate between the very hard edge steel and the spring temper blade back. Hi Guys, I’ve been at home. I’ve been dealing with my health. Enough of that. Hope you are well. This is a terrific folder. It’s just strikingly beautiful.
