Dory, My posts have been coming up with the correct time stamp (EST). I checked the main settings and no adjustment to time is in place. Have you checked the time associated with your profile?by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

When it comes to shooting consistently enough to properly sight in or print a group; a good bench sure helps. But if you're not going to a dedicated shooting range chances are, you're going to shoot off something less than a proper bench. Commercial portable benches tend to vary between flimsy or very expensive and hard to find. Gary found a nice place to go shoot but found himself shootingby Jerry - The Gear Shack
Oh this is going to drive someone nuts! You almost had a deer join you in the blind and some folks never even see one....by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great post Neil! It is remarkable how well the two software programs and a quality scope/rifle combination work together. You've inspired Jim! Sadly, the boys are still about a thousand slugs behind and there is another order pending...by Jerry - The Gear Shack

Pretty cool stuf. Where did you get the big knob?by Jerry - The Gear Shack
Gary, Make sure you tell Frank about the high tech heating and cooling systems!by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
A tad over spec indeed! A good customer in New Zealand actually did some BC calculations on the Raptor. It will be interesting to compare results.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Now that's some serious data collection right there! If you find a favorite slug, you can use similar data to make a scope knob tape so you can click to any range.by Jerry - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

This is where the AR site's administrators will post the best of the best groups. This will keep the cream of the crop from being lost down the page in the midst of other fine groups... 3 shots by Gary Barnes shooting the Barnes Prairie III Shot by Jerry Boyenga shooting the Barnes Woodsman with .32 insert 3 shots by Jerry Boyenga shooting the Barnes Prairie III 5 shots byby Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
Sweet! Someone is going to end up with a fine hunting gun there.by Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
Here's some action from Barnes Woodsman .62. This is a smoothbore and my favorite slug for it comes in at 545gr and that yields over 450 FPE. Just because it's a smoothie doesn't mean it can't be accurate! This is the best group I've shot (at 40yds) with the gun but it mostly blows things up besides paper. Routine groups of less than 2" at 50yds can be produced with the custom slugs.by Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
I have a couple shots here from a range day that Julio enjoyed. He was shooting his Yukon II. This is a spectacular rifle that is incredibly accurate at enormous power. The groups below were shot with 450gr slugs going 838.3 FPS. That's over 702 FPE! Julio and his brother Rafael had a little competition going with the big gun. Rafael got in this great group and started feeling good...by Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
Here's a couple groups Jim shot with his Barnes Delta .45. This is a great bench rifle and brand new to Jim but that didn't keep him from hitting everything he aimed at at the range. I'm sure he'll have more to add... Getting warmed up at 50yds with round ball. Looks like those Shrike slugs work pretty good too. And that folks is Jim's first ever 100 yard group! Here are some groups shot with groups from the Barnes Prairie III. This is also a .32 with a barrel almost identical to the Woodsman. This barrel is fully encased in a full shroud shroud though and the Prairie can adjust in seconds from near silent 80-90 FPE 50 yard tack driver to 250 FPE long range monster. This is the first group shot with the Prairie III. Gary had just finished the gunby Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
I'm going to start with groups I shot using the Barnes Woodsman with .32 insert. This is a .62 caliber smoothbore that has been outfitted with a .32 barrel and matching bolt. The gun can be converted in fairly short order. With the insert in place, depending on settings and slug weight it will shoot at 140-190 FPE. Without the insert it shoots a 545gr slug at around 450 FPE. The Woodsmanby Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
The 7 ring slugs during testing with the Sumatra. The 8 ring slugs showed they were up to par as well.by Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
Just a collection of .25 groups shot with the Maverick Magnum or with Barnes slug designs through a Sumatra Carbine. These groups were shot back when I got the Maverick Magnum and was trying to find the "best" slug. Turns out that there are several great slugs... These groups were shot at 25-30 yards. I was changing fill pressures and checking slugs and shot strings. I shot thisby Jerry - The Target Trophy Lodge
