Hey Dude ... ya need to post my first and only group I shot off my truck tailgate. Gary I forgot ... I hadn't loaded my Casio disc yet. I thought you had the missing pics ... then realized we had used both cameras. The gun made it easy to shoot well.by barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Yeah ... if you can imagine this: Configure your fingers in the manner in which you would "flick a fly" off the table beside your plate. Then consider "flicking" the top edge of a playing card held in your other hand. That microsecond of card movement is an accurate representation of the sensation of watching the switchblade target reset from one paddle to the other when being hit by the Yulby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Fortunately, my key fob is working. Jerry became obsessed with the project when I mentioned that mine had died, and never recovered after battery replacement a year ago. Well, it only took both of us and most of the tools I own to get inside, reverse engineer it ... discover what was degraded ... engineer/manufacture some aftermarket springs .. install same ... and reprogram the thing. From my daz with ZZ Top. Jerry needs a level on that camera of his .... Here, I was a fixn' to put a nice pc. of Spruce timber on the gun so we could shoot it at the range. The business area of the action. GAry Oh ... I forgot ... Jerry got "Scoped" pretty good firing this beast. The thing recoils about 3" or more when shot. Kicks real good. That's what the kids in Kelly's Child Care business call me ... "Mr. Gary". Sort of like the "Mr. Green Jeans" from the Captn. Kangaroo show. haha. Yeah ... We fired the Yukon 62 for the first time today. Jerry came up for the ritual. I still had some things to do to get it firing, so Jerry cast slugs for it while I worked. The gun is not finished now - just shootable for it's field testing and function firing phase. Around 6pm, it came time for the "First Fire" trials. I shot the gun thru the muzzler across the chrono into the bullet contaiby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Julio needs to try some K-8s in that beast of his. Those very heavy slugs should work well from that magnum power plant. What are they ... around 400 grains IIRC. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hello Gary: Enclosed you will find a few pictures illustrating the evidence that the Caribou went out this weekend. To tell you the truth I feel ashamed of showing my best group to you after all the 165, 185 and 200 yds groups that you showed. Anyway the rifle was sighted in at 50 yds using the Bishop slugs and then I proceeded to shoot a group of steel targets at 75 and 100 yds. I inclby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'd like to add some info. for clarity. Jerry and his Sons do a fine job of producing a quality product. They do this with a collection of tools. Some, of their own purchase from commercial companies. Some from Barnes equipment that they origonally purchased for their own use, and then pressed into service for other Barnes owners. Some of the Barnes equipment they use, is on lone from otheby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Last evening, at 11:14 ... I heard the birthing room cheer ... and knew my newest grand-daughter "Lena Joann Brown" had arrived. Shortly thereafter, I could hear her crying. A blessed sound. Mom and baby are well. Mom had a very rough time of it. Long and painful labor. Triplets and twins run the numbers up pretty quick. We're blessed with 12 wonderful grandkids. Welcome Lena. As Rotor mentioned above - smoke and mirrors. It's the actual shot. That's the actual bullet coming toward you - and striking! However; a sacrificial mirror is involved in setting this up. No cameras were harmed in the making of this video. Neat possibilities. Garyby barnespneumatic - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
