I really like the pocket clip design on that Kydex sheath. So few knife makers go to the trouble of making a true deep pocket clip, and I have never seen anybody do one with a “bridge mount” design like this. I have personally never really cared for the colors and patterns of the “fossilized mosquito tusk“ / acryllic resin material. It’s just too fancy/gaudy for my utilitarian taste, buby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I really like the one with the sunburst pattern and I’d bet my wife would too. ? She wouldnt wear earrings this big, but I think she would if it was a necklace. Would it be possible to make one up in sterling silver? I have some leftover from a stalled project that I could send for you to work with, if you want. Seanby rotorhead - I'm just sayin'
Hmmm... not so sure on the “it’ll buff out part. I’ve only owned one Pontiac, a 1963 Safari Wagon that I bought in ‘88. It had the “economy” engine...a 389 cu in V8 with a 2 barrel carb, 2 speed automatic (with sort-of over drive that made it into almost a three speed), power everything. It had three full rows of bench seats plus two extra in the back, but zero factory seat belts.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I like it! Very slick, good readability too, clear text on plain backgrounds, which is getting more important for me these days as my vision gets...not better.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Nice work Lon. If anyone notices, call it a feature instead of a flaw. You can always make up some story about how you had to rotate it 1/64th of a degree from the vertical for optimum accuracy or something like that.by rotorhead - Gary's Galleries

It's a good photo, really brings out the fine detail. Know what you mean about the bits though...just think about how well something is going, let alone discuss it aloud, and it's jinxed. At least, that's the way it goes with my roof patch.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That means that at least one wheel runs on the abrasive side of the belt. Does that one wear out first?by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks for the kind words Kurt. You're totally right about old houses, every time you open up something it's always more complicated and more expensive to fix that you'd hoped. Gary could undoubtedly testify to this at length...if he hasn't already blocked all those memories due to their traumatic nature! Wow...looks like enough steel to make your own aircraft carrier! I'll bet when you offload the last of it, your shop gets taller. Been busy here, trying to line up a contractor and more importantly, the money, to get a foundation wall replaced in our old wreck of a house. The former owners pulled a fast one on us, covered up a failed foundation wall by building another wall inside it. THAT waby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Looks sturdy, that's for sure! Elevated helipads have some unique design requirements regarding impact loads, fire/heat tolerance, and corrosion resistance. They're not a purely static structure, since they're intended to withstand decades of repeated strain from multi-ton helicopters taking off and landing (sometimes less than gracefully ), along with corrosive elements like de-icing salt, blooby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Just your luck, they'd want you to be the stunt-double for some action start Santa movie. "OK Gary, just as a review, as soon at the cement truck smashes you off the 10 story parking garage your santa suit will automatically light itself on fire. Hello again folks, I've been off the forum for a while but I'm making the time to get back and post a bit here and there. And even though I've been a forum member since before is was called the Rendezvous, I'm still learning new stuff every time I come back here to visit. This time I think I've learned one of the secrets behind the good looks of Garys new series of knives....namely, his "fossilizby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
