From the looks of it, this will feel really nice in the hand. I like the profile of the handle scales, they just look "right".by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It's a well-known fact that all measuring devices and gauges are herd animals. Tape measures, for example, run in packs and migrate under cover of darkness. Much like bats, they seek out remote and undisturbed locations during the day, as far away as possible from the noise and disturbance caused by working humans. It's not unknown for a shiny new member to join the pack of tape measures, typicalby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Nice! I see them as handle material, stack some leather washers or discs of exotic woods above and below for contrast. Perhaps a hammer-finish copper or german silver letter opener blade? I know a couple guys who swear by SiriusXM for their shop radios, about $13-14 bucks a month and you can usually find the equipment for cheap used. If your cable TV is still working they sometimes have a "radio" channel as well. Up here the TV signal is more reliable than the internet, even though they all come in on the same cable.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi back at you. Been out of town, met an old exchange student of ours who was vacationing in the U.S. He brought his new girlfriend to see California, and while I'm certainly not a fan of either California politics or their big cities, I did finally get to go see the redwoods up in the far northern part of the state. Those old growth trees are massive beyond belief, I'm glad that I got to seeby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hey Gary, it's nice to see that you're feeling up to making some chips fly, hope it doesn't come back to bite you in the neck. Boy, when it rains in Florida, it can REALLY come down. At one point during our last vacation there I was starting to wonder if it's ever rained hard enough to break car windows, the wipers didn't begin to keep up with that sort of downpour and even the trucker were crby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Yikes, you're growing spurs like an old rooster. Of course, if you were a rooster they'd be growing somewhere designed to hurt others instead of yourself, kinda got that part backwards. Lets hope those weren't the exact roots keeping the tree from falling on the house. Not too many oak trees up here in AK (as in none) but the spruce and hemlock we have up here have root systems which are surprisingly shallow. Sometimes after a windstorm we'll see a 70-100 foot tall tree tipped over along with a 20-30 foot wide disc of roots, none of which are deeper than a foot or so. I could easily fit into my high school graduation outfit...since I wore cutoff jeans and a t-shirt under that gown. Summertime in New Mexico doesn't really inspire lots of hot clothing traditions. Now, as to whether or not I could still fit into the same sized pair of cutoffs, well that ship sailed away a LONG time ago.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It's pretty amazing how much paperwork and complication has been added to the modern world, isn't it? When you look through the magazines and advertisements from he Florida of 50 years ago, it seems like every second gas station and hole-in-the-wall curio shop had a whole menagerie of exotic animals, gators, snapping turtles, elephants, you name it. Back then if you wanted to set up a "turtle resby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Typically when a doc declines surgery in favor of less invasive treatments, it's probably a good thing. Right? I'm always suspicious of the surgeons who see everything in terms of what they can start cutting on, sort of like the "handyman" whose only tool is a hammer. Best wishes for a good outcome. I don't think we're quite at that stage yet. Or if we are, I sure wish I'd have kept the original box since apparently that's all the true "collectors" care about anyway.
