Humm, I might know someone willing to part with a .308 QB for a good hunt, as long as he can use his Barnes for the hunt.by Keith - AR Classifieds
Humm, I know there is at least one Gray Fox out there with a matching knife. That might not have been the intent, but they sure look like a matched set. Now all that is needed is the mold and die set . Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I never made it to your Standing Stone event, now I really wish I had. Karl tried to get me to go to your last one, but I lacked the time and money. I could have brought along Alice and we could have cleaned up. Well, at least Alice would have. And I could have won an auction to boot. I love auctions, until they pass my price point, but they are still fun. Keithby Keith - I'm just sayin'
Hi Hugh, If you think the Gray Fox looks nice on the site, you should see it in person. And it's fun to shoot, unless you live in Miami-Dade County, FL, then of course you can't shoot it, at least at the public range. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I know what you mean. We seem to have the same problem with providing IT services. There is a line of people wanting us to do work for them, until we talk money and they get all upset that we want more then $10 an hour, or that we are not will to put our effort into their project for a piece of the action. What I can't understand is why people get so upset when you don't want to buyby Keith - I'm just sayin'
Gary, I've had this idea for a while that might be worth discussing. I've been wondering if it is feasable to have a doublerifle airgun. I can't think of a technical reason why it won't work. Have you ever seen such a beast? Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, You should set up an Engineering Consulting Service to refer these interested parties to. For a $25K retainer, you will review their design and provide feedback. For $50K you will correct their design and provide corrected drawings, and for $100K you will also provide a working prototype of the corrected design. I know that's not much to one such as yourself, and it would lack the pleby Keith - I'm just sayin'
Gary, You've created another work of art. You know, you might want to start making locking wall mounts to properly display such a fine piece. It would have to be able to anchor it into the wall though, or the rifle might grow legs. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, It happens. I remember when I took my brothers and some of their friends to the range. I had my .41 Mag and .44 Mag (both N frame S&W) for them to shoot. We had two lanes, one for each gun and would you know it, someone borrowed some ammo from the other lane to fill out the last chamber in the cylinder. I knew something was wrong as soon as it went off. It was a pain getting that .4by Keith - The Hunting Camp
I'd love to give them a try, but the local county range won't let me shoot my bb guns. Something about tanks exploding. I need to start looking for a new range, or someone with a little land out in the sticks.by Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Humm, somewhere around here I have a box of .308 lead bullets. They may actually be sized at .309, but I would have to check, but then I would have to find them. If I remember correctly, they should be about 105gr. I think they are for reloading .30 Carbine. Do you thing they would work? Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Who ever gets that stock is going to be one lucky person. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Your artistic abilities always amaze me. I think I should get my son up there to work with you for a while. He would learn more about art and metal working/smithing working with you then he is at the college he's attending in Memphis (not to mention the money I would save). Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I don't know where you found the room for such a large piece. Is that a magical shed? Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Karl, You didn't tell me it was fixed. What, you don't want me to break, I mean shoot it again. I really need to go out shooting. Keep me posted on your travel dates. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
All, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and have a better New Year. Though I did not receive/give any airgun related items, there were some gifts that were under the tree worth mentioning. My wife, Alice, received a Barnes knife (that might be airgun related...), my boys each received a Joe Hoover knife (my thanks go out to Joe for the great work on making 4 matched knives) and I receivby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, How can you fit all of your stuff back into the shop if the wall is being moved inward six inches? It was pretty tight in there if I remember correctly. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Sorry for not posting. This past year has really been drawn out for me with my long commutes to work every week (Miami to Tampa). I finally found a new job in September where I do not have to commute to Tampa every week, but I will still do a considerable amount of traveling (so far mostly to DC, but soon will be international travel); only on the road 24 weeks out of the year. On oneby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Congratulations! 12 is a lot to make gifts for (home made ones are always the best.) Also, when do they get their first air rifle? BTW - I'll be joining the club soon myself. Keithby Keith - I'm just sayin'
Gary, That's some fine metal work. I looked through the photos and I know which outside lock is which. The one at the top you made, the bottom one is the old one. Its was easy to tell, look at the screw heads. Keith BTW - can you add dates to the photos?by Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Joe, another nice looking blade. I like the burly wood handle, very nice. Keithby Keith - AR Classifieds
I can second that. I am amazed at the amount of stuff Gary has in that small shop. I think most galleys have more room then Gary has. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Spent the day with my wife at home, but the chores are still staring at me. However, I did manage to watch my tomatoes grow, smoke my pipe and complete some office work. At least my tomatoes are getting ready to be picked soon. Keithby Keith - I'm just sayin'
I like winter also, but my body complains too much when it gets cold outside. Lon, do you need more ice in your tea? Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jim, You could get one and we could test it for you. I sure Gary would be willing to put it through some tests to see how it stacks up agains the normal scopes, but it might a while. I'm sure Jerry would also be willing to help and I know I can assist also. Just let us know when. Keithby Keith - Gary's Galleries
Gary, It looks great, I'm sure its new owner will be happy. Maybe we will see it at a future shoot. Keithby Keith - Gary's Galleries
Gary, Now that's impressive. I would have thought you had a box full of the slugs in plastic baggies with hand written notes on the bags. Maybe even seperated by year of manufacture, but I like the felt lined drawers better. Are they in your office above the workshop? Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, No problem. I still have slugs to shoot. Keithby Keith - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
