Joe, The knife is excellent, I can't wait to use it. It has some significant weight to it and is well balanced a the same time. It fits well in my hand. The pictures don't do the scales justice. The grain of the scales is fabulous. The leatherwork is excellent as well. It must take quite a sewing machine to do that work. It's not a Barnes air air rifle, but it is excellent just the sameby Scott - AR Classifieds
Joe, Another fine knife. Consider it sold, if no one else has grabbed it yet. I sent you a PM. Scottby Scott - AR Classifieds
Happy New Year! And, I hope everyone haad a blessed Christmas. I unfortunately haven't been around much the past couple of months, but as soon as I can figure out how to get the pictures off my phone, I will post some holiday shooting we did at Thanksgiving. I alwqays love the expressions on peoples faces when they see what my BB guns can do.by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice shooting Gary and Joebill. Joebill, what mods did you have to make to be able to shoot that target so much better than Gary?by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This has always been one of my favorites. It is aging well.by Scott - Gary's Galleries
Cousin???? I think this is his twin!!!by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
All I can say is AWESOME! The craftsmanship looks fabulous, as always. The marrying of the finish of the wood and the finish of the metal takes great talent. The function is precise; well beyond what most people would expect to be possible. I hope it gets used often by its future owner. It is not every day that one gets to see truly functional art. Excellent job Gary!by Scott - Gary's Galleries
Gary, As you know, when it rains it pours! Aren't old houses "quaint"? I feel for you. Scott PS On my ipod the only switch is a "hold" switch. The ipod actually turns off by holding down the play/pause button. The switch just locks out the other buttons so you don't push them accidently. When I see red, none of the other buttons work, but the ipod is still on. I don't know if youby Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
A friend of mine has been building this Christian retreat center. A group of us had been up to help work on it a few weeks before. This trip we were just breaking the place in and relaxing a bit.by Scott - Gary's Galleries
We did not have any competition with the air rifles--only bragging rights! But, we did have an informal shotgun competition.by Scott - Gary's Galleries
I was able to do some plinking with some friends a few weeks ago and I want to share some pictures. It is always fun showing peole what REAL airguns can do! We started with plinking cans at 15-20 yards. When that got boring we set up some bottles and cans on top of a 5 gallon bucket at 60-70 yards. In addition to being beautiful rifles, even at that distance both the Appaloosaby Scott - Gary's Galleries
Gary, After a long day at work, looking a that stock made me smile! Excellent work, Gary. Scottby Scott - Gary's Galleries
Gary, Sorry to hear the pain is acting up. I hope they come up with some better options to help control it. I was thinking about the Bisons. They look like a more complicated/intricate build compared to some other models. I suspect it will be a relief when this current batch goes out the door. That should help cheer things up! This gun will hunt squirrels. No doubt about it!by Scott - Gary's Galleries
It absolutely is a "sipper". I can get many more shots out of the Appaloosa and the Ranger on one SCUBA tank, than I can out of my S410E. My tank is now down to 2500 psi which makes it hardly worth the effort to hook up the 410, but I can shoot like normal with my Barnes rifles. I'll still ask for a 3300 psi fill when I get to the SCUBA shop. Sometimes they'll overfill, sometimes they won't.by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The compressor is on my list. But that list also includes a regulator, long hose and a carbon fiber tank. Which will be first? Unfortunately, they will all have to wait until my wife gets new furniture!by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The Appaloosa made it to its permanent home this weekend. It is more beautiful than the pictures can show! Great job Gary!!! I stole the Swift scope off my Air Arms S410E, but I had problems with my adjustable rings. WE were still able to shoot before the rain started and the winter weather returned, but my children, 7, 9 and 11 years old, wouldn't give me a turn to shoot once it was sighteby Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You are an artist who knows what works It still amazes me that your work is functional too!by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Excellent numbers, Gary! I'm lookig forward to seeing a couple of 3 shot clover leafs before this weekend is over. Then, I'll have to find time to play hooky from work....by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jerry, If you can get up to see Gary before he ships it, you can test it You can make sure it does well with those slugs your boys make. Gary, It looks great! I showed my wife the pictures this evening. Fortunately she didn't hit me when I told her it would be arriving soon She did admit it looks too good to shoot squirrels with! I'll have to remember to say "yes" the next timeby Scott - Gary's Galleries
We had 6 inches of snow yesterday, but most of it is gone now. Crazy midwest weather! It's definitely going to be a muddy mess around here for a while That stock looks great I can't wait to see it all put together Scottby Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
My thought, exactly!by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Awesome shooting! That looks like a productive day at the range. I wish I could have been there. I hope nobody from PETA sees what you did to that gopher!by Scott - Video Library
Gary, As always, I'm quite impressed. I can't wait to see the final product! Someone is going to be very happy Scottby Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That adjustment system actually makes since. Even more so after reading the previous replies to Roose on shots-per-fill.by Scott - Gary's Galleries
That is BEAUTIFUL! I'm curious about the poweer adjusting mechanism. Is it just a smooth turning knob? Or, does it "click"? And how do you lock it to keep it from spontaneously changing power?by Scott - Gary's Galleries
Excellent video and pictures. I didn't get to shoot today. But I have a laptop here that could use the exact same treatment!by Scott - Video Library
I've heard of slugging the bore on an old rifle that you don't know what size it is. But, you made this barrel. How does slugging the bore help? Don't you still have to get to the range to determine what the right size slug or ball really is?by Scott - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
