1/4 mile Soda can shot (446 yards!) - 11 years ago
Well, i still owe you guys a 100 yard grape shot and like i recently told Jerry, i haven't forgetten. But in the meantime, i managed to hit a Soda Can at a quarter mile with my newest longrange creation. The TD257. I used a 102 gr Ideal Spitzer that travels 890+ FPS from a 3200 psi fill. The gun will get 8 shots at that fill pressure. You guys also have to excuse my LINKS as of lately.by Tofazfou - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Performance of the TD257 on small game - 11 years ago
If you would like to read the short story and watch the HUNTING video which includes the rabbit i shot at 186 yards. 186 yards is my furthest AirGun kill to date. My last record was 146 yards using the same gun but only in .251 caliber shooting 42 gr Eun Jins. It still astounds me as to what Airguns are capable of. I know.....the title is all dramatic huh? LOL! As the title states, I have brought the old talon/condor back to life and even gave it a well deserved caliber swap. Back Story (short version): I purchased a Air Force Talon in 22 back in 2005. As most Talons go, it came with a 18" .22 cal LW barrel. It's really my pleasure to do the videos. With my new job AND LESS MONEY (INCOME) I don't get out as often as i used to. But the videos will never stop. Slow down maybe (for now) but not stop. Gonna turn each and every one of my airguns into tackdrivers. ONE x ONE.....lol! This months theme? The Dragon Slayer 454. Tuning: This is an old but a favorite gun of mine. Did even more tuning on the Dragon Slayer about 5 months ago and the DS is maxed out so far at 254 FPE using Jerry's Raptor slugs @ 227.1 grs. LOL. THanx guys for replying. Glad you enjoyed it. Both of you make wonderful products. The Raptors as well as other SUREFIRE bullets are something i will be ordering for as long as SUREFIRE is open for business. Finally caught a break and got some free time to take the old DS454 back out into the wild again. I also bought some 454 cal/227.1 gr Raptor bullets from SureFire Casting (Jerry Boyenga) and wanted to capture the odd but COOL whizzing sound of the bullets since most of you haven't heard it before.
