Gary, I'm happy to hear that these outside projects are starting to bear some fruit. You know that you have always had my full support. Pass along my best to Kelly. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, That looks amazing. You are one lucky man to have Kelly around to cook for you! Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy Easter! May the grace Christ bought for us on the cross be with us all. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Congratulations to you and Kelly on the birth of your great-grandchild. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Beautiful work Gary. The shell colors are amazing. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Hey, I know the "blessings" of age like you and Kurt and take each day as it comes. I hope your expanded ventures bear fruit. I wish I had extra $$ to buy some of the knives you've shown recently, the iron wood handled folder comes to mind, but 2 kids in college need to take the focus for now. In the meantime, you need to do what you have to so the lights stay on and as a ledger custoby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice! Those will be sweet when they are finished!by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Lon, Larry: I thought I was the only one here falling apart. I hope you all are feeling better soon. I always thought that I'd age gracefully. .. like a fine wine. Turns out it is more like vinegar. What can you do? Just keep on going. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Sorry to hear you and Kelly got the flu. I'm just getting over it myself. I had it over the last two weeks and my chest is still slightly congested. Unfortunately there's no easy solution you just got to wait it out. I'll say a prayer for you both. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Glad you finally got the shots to help with the pain. I hope the "talk" sank in. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary and Kelly, We had our share of sick wife, children, grandchildren as well this season. Seems like some kind of flu-like bug was running rampant through our town. Mostly down to coughs an occasional sneezes now. Thankfully it missed me . My wife and I kept it low-key for each other this year. No gifts. Just focused on the kids and grandkids. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, it looks delicious. Kelly sure takes good care of you. I hope you're having a wonderful holiday season. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy birthday Gary. Sorry I'm a day late. I hope you had a great time. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I suppose that many people in the world just want something quick, functional, and are not really that concerned about how it gets there. I guess I'm a little old-fashioned myself. I do care how it's made and I go out of my way to seek out handmade goods when available. I like the variation and craftsmanship that provides. Unfortunately, my budiet fights me on this. Sometimes I win,by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I really like the new design. I can't wait to see you build it. The last pic you posted with the carved hand grip was my favorite. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. We did too....and I fully understand the "flurries " that you mentioned. Just trying to catch my breath before the next holiday and all that will entail. I am also a big fan of the "Hoss" design and will be eagerly watching it's creation. For what it's worth, I vote for "stacked". Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, I wish you, Kelly and your family a wonderfull Thanksgiving. God bless, Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow Gary, as I've said earlier, that is awsome engraving. It is really tempting me...by Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow, that engraving is beautiful. I especially liked the little worker (self portrait? ) in one of the sections. This will be some knife when it is completed. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, It looks really nice, the wood and malachite pair well together. Great to hear about your toe infection being cleared up. Had the infection spread, I don't even want to think of the consequences. Living with the pain for so long it must seem like a new world. ..if just the other aches would follow. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Ouch, that's a shame. But it's good to see some airgun activity taking place out of the shop. If it looks anything like Kent's son's, it will be awsome. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary: I hope everything went well and that you get better soon. Listen to your smarter half and stay off your feet. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Those stuffed peppers look awsome! They are one of my favorite meals. Kelly sure takes good care of you. The knife is pretty sweet too. Hope your foot is doing better. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Gorgeous work, both old and new. I have to agree with Jeff that #41 is dazzling...as is Kurt's boxed knife. That really is something special. Hope your feeling better Gary, and you too Jeff. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, What a dramatic handle display! Gorgeous! I really like the mosaic imagery and theme. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Congratulations to you and Kelly! Boy the time does fly. Kelly hardly seems old enough to be a great grandmother, you on the other hand.... Pass along my best wishes and congratulations to Leah. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, That looks a lot better than my dinner yesterday. I'm getting hungry just looking at it. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Wow, that went fast! It did turn out exceptional. Congrats to the new owner and to you on the quick sale. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, Glad to hear that this latest challenge is treatable. I can only imagine the stress that this was giving you. I'm keeping you and Kelly in my prayers. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, This was a fine design with the old blade and will be even nicer with damascus steel I'm sure. I love the saddle back design and if it had been ready in January, it would have been gone.. but I love the one I purchased later. Karlby Karl_D - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
