Gary, Nice work on those bails.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I think it was rough sawed something or other. Can't remember what the guy called it but it was cheap and i use it for filler on the bottom of the frame so the plastic doesn't creep out. Don't think it's oak though. Surprised no one caught the tire in the air when i got off the mower. The cart wasn't balanced well and lifted the mower. Was tough to get traction.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Well, the rink is just about done.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Nice little assortment. What are the names on the larger watches? The one with the yellow dial and the one with the rose colored dial.... at least in the photos?by watchman - I'm just sayin'
Thanks Larry. That pic is from a couple years ago. I did it last year but i'm running out of steam. The pile of wood is sitting in the back yard waiting for me to haul it up. Of course, the kids are nowhere to be found when it's assembly time. Think it's about 4 years straight i've had it and it's become a local landmark. I almost feel obligated just to keep the tradition. My water bill is big afby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Oh, i love old watch accumulations. Yes,do post a photo. Actually, jewelry repair is a dirty job compared to watch repair. All the soldering ,filing and polishing. One little microscopic metal shaving will stop a gear train so they really should be in seperate rooms. Steveby watchman - I'm just sayin'
Awesome... what more could you ask for.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Hi Kurt, All the stuff pictures with the exeption of the movement vice is used to solder and repair jewelry. My watchmakers bench is cleaner and newer. Have to be ultra clean when working on fine watches. Do you still have the Breitlings? Would love to see em. Maybe you can ship them to me to see what i can do. Steveby watchman - I'm just sayin'
Gary's post on jewelry making made me think of this bench i purchased on the bay 15 years ago.by watchman - I'm just sayin'

Your a great writer Gary. Forgot about the tree myself until you revisited halfway into the story. I recall trying all makeshift solutions when i had a limb hanging from a tree from an early ice storm we had a few years back. Long story short.... the limb is still there and has become a nice nest for squirrels and such. We tried attaching tools, hammers and wrench to the rope as we flung it up anby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Julio, remember when Gary was shootin up the milk jugs? This was in that mix.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Not sure if anyone recalls but the group was alitttle luke warm on the trigger guard initially. Oh and thanks for continuing to bump the thread...... it's killing me Steveby watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Oh .... Love those tools you have there. Nothing more rewarding than hearing that Vrooom. Funny that i get that much enjoyment from the routine of yard clean up. No tractor for me but i do have a leaf bag that attaches to the mower buckets coming soon. Leaves are turning quick. Time to get the snowblower ready. Wish i was closer.... i'd gladly lend a hand.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary, thought i was the only one up this late.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks for the history lesson, very interesting. I'm in Mass and had no idea they grew in CT. Thanks for the offer on the seed pods as well, if you get them of course.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Jeff, can you grow that tobacco in the Northeast? Would love to give it a try if possible. Gary, your eatin good, i've been going crazy making egg dishes of all sorts. The Chief of Police of all people has an egg stand right down the road from me. He's getting into the farming thing.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good job Gary. Cleans up the page nicely.by watchman - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
