Hello Gary, Do you have any of the sunflower bracelets in stock currently?by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Anybody can pay a lot of money and purchase some very nice re machine tools, but the the mark of an experienced machine shop is the money they have invested in jigs.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Love the photos! Those etched blades acquire a very nice semi-polish/patina with use, don’t they? The colors on the saddleback spring are fantastic tooby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Classic and under-appreciated blade shape for sure. One of my every-day carry knives is the Kershaw Leek, it’s a slim little spring-assisted folder with a similar blade profile. I love the way the Wharncliffe blade shape acts like an extension of your finger, it is so natural to use. The only drawback is that you have to be a bit careful not to put too much sideways force on the tip, since it iby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
It’s definitely got the looks of a carnival style “gun”, I can almost smell the cotton candy from here! Sorry to hear about your house, flooding is one of those disasters that unfolds in slow motion, after the factby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I am so sorry to hear about this, my sincere condolences. I hope that your faith will give you both the strength you need for the days ahead.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Even drilling thin wall stainless steel sheet-metal can be a PITA. I helped a friend install some stainless steel chimney pipe on a boat once, the exhaust for an old Dickinson oil stove. All we had was a super cheap auto-parts store drillbit set, and the stainless pipe would work harden so quickly we would only get two or three holes for every bit. The self tapping sheet metal screws are hopelessby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The light at the end of the tunnel is…blue? Pattern reminds me of a nebula or a spiral galaxyby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
7 million slugs?!? Thats a huge number for a non-factory operation. The guys at Surefire Casting did some really nice work The rifling marks remind me of the “micro-groove” rifling on old Marlin .22s, i’ve got an old Model 989, it’s an accurate rifle and that rifling sure does make it easy to clean.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I suspect that a lot of shooters in Europe and the UK would probably opt for a .22 LR over the higher power air guns given the choice, as an air rifle that can deliver the same foot pounds energy typically costs many multiples of what something like a Ruger 10-22 does. Much greater regulations and restrictions of firearms on the continent forces people to choose the more expensive option.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That is quite a unique color combination for the handle, good looking though!by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Like snakes, you have to have a pretty good reason to touch that, and only under the right circumstances. Otherwise… Hands off!by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary has been “self isolating“ for a long time, he’s well ahead of the curve on this one.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I too have an immediate family member in the healthcare business, which means that my family is going to be continually exposed until a vaccination or cure has been developed. This particular virus seems to have hit the “sweet spot“ as regards infecting our society; its combination of being both incredibly contagious and also having an extremely long asymptomatic phase where people are stillby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I love it! I’d buy this one off you right now if you’re going to sell it. Actually, isn’t that sort of your usual tradition? In all seriousness, I love this blade shape and it seems like it a great value for a custom knife at this price point. I have always been more of a knife user than a collector so this really works for me.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
My guess too, broken tap. The “snap” noise when one breaks off is one of the worst sounds in the working world, sounds JUST like hours of extra work, if not days.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looks like the US market values a low price, and the UK values quality, but of course it’s more complicated than that. The UK has a significant unmet demand for actual firearms which is substituted by the better quality air guns. The much greater availability of guns in the United States means that air guns are relegated to niche markets, where low cost or greater silence are the drivers of deby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Quite attractive and unique, makes you wonder why you almost never see aluminum anodized in earth tones like brown, tan, etc. Are some colors harder than others?by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
This is a very pretty knife; smooth and sleek design, subdued color palate and carving. Very classy,by rotorhead - Gary's Galleries
Hope it works out, dealing with medical issues is frustrating and incredibly time consumingby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
There is no way a one-man shop can compete with an entire factory full of CNC machines. Even if you were so inclined, The difference between labor cost overseas and what your time is worth would make this a losing gameby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Every time I see pictures of this knife it strikes a chord, I really like the looks of it. I wish I had been visiting the forum more frequently when it came up for sale. I guess when you snooze you lose! Does the coloration of the saddle lock spring stay this bright after it has seen some miles in your pocket, or does it wear/fade down to polished steel?by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I’ve lost three pocket knives through the use of the pocket clip. They snag on a car seat belt, a jacket, or some other obstruction and lift themselves out of my pocket without my noticing. A belt holster works and I do sometimes use want to carry a multi tool, but it is far less convenient than just dropping one in your pocket. So far every one I’ve lost has been under 100 bucks, but it woulby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Ah ha! My wife must have gotten to it when I was wasn’t looking. She routinely locks the rotation on her phone, drives me nutsby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
10 months late to this question, but I have the same problem with my phone. How did you fix it?by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Wow, what an ordeal to go through, I am grateful that it turned out well in the end. Our lives are so much more fragile than we think, and we take so much for granted on a daily basis. I am happy to hear that she should make a good recovery, best wishes for the both of you. Seanby rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Sweet looking knife, and what a good idea! My main complaint with the “flipper“ style of opener is that the flipper part is always poking you when you carry it in your pocket. This design should eliminate that concern. Beautiful workmanship, as always.by rotorhead - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
