Gary, the program I showed you when you were here, "Chair Gun", is available on IOS and Android for FREE. For anyone that doesn't know about it, Chair Gun allows you to input factors such as velocity, projectile wieght, B.C., distance, shot angle, etc. etc., and it will give you a HUGE amount of information. It also has a "tool box" with mini apps such as a neat little deal where you center a setby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Dogs had a go at it this weekend with no luck at all. Marty in fact even had a look. Not a drop of blood. That being said, I think it's clear what we have here; Zombie Deer.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Truth be told, all that shoveling that Sean and some of you other guys were doing was making me a little jealous. Had to find something that mimicked that repetitive shoveling motion of up and down, up and down about a hundred thousand times. We don't have much snow here in TX so........ On a positive note, my wife can't stop staring at my new found upper body tone. If any one is interested, I'mby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Man that turned out nice. Maybe you ought to just leave it with me here in TX for safe keeping. You know so you don't accidentally sell it....yeah, that's it.... So you don't sell it .by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
How is it that your "pellet loading tool" has more thought put into it than most of my other guns? I know I've got some sub-par guns but come on...by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You've just reminded me why I moved from 11,000 ft. in Colorado to 1,500 ft. In Texas. Good luck with all of that, popeye arms indeed. In all honesty I miss it most of the time, a week or two "visit" usually cures that though.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That's just too nice for words Gary. I promise I'll do my best to make it proud...by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Funny thing, My neighbors daughter was just telling me about this grey haired man that had been flashing her odd smiles and waving as she jogs by each evening, called him a "creeper"...You're not down here early are you Gary?by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Gary, and too everyone else on the forum. Rendezvous is by far the most civilized forum I've spent any time on. Everyone doesn't always agree, but I've seen very little to zero disrespect. Seeing that basic respect go's a long way, it's sadly absent from so much of life now. Plus I can always count on The Forum for a smile.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Those all look sub m.o.d (minute of deer, of course) To me... I'd say your just about ready....by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I'm not sure if it's the case on whatever platform this forum is based on, but on many it is due to the lack of flash on the iphone... suppose I should quit guessing and let the guys that really know answer.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, the easiest way I've found is to put the photobucket app on your iphone (requires setting up a photobucket account first). You upload your pictures directly to photobucket from the iphone. Photobucket then gives you a url which you can paste into a post on the message board and that url will appear as your picture in the post. Hopefully that made sense. It's a few extra steps but it works oby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

You got it there Kent. All my best parts distilled.by egra099 - The Hunting Camp
Gary, when we were skinning him I said the same thing to Kent. In fact, in person it was much more apparent and severe. After reading over, and over, and over how an airgun just punched a hole in an animal "like a bow", I was really surprised to see signs of such massive hydrostatic shock. After thinking it over though, all you have to do is go watch some of the videos of water jugs, fruit etc.by egra099 - The Hunting Camp
It's a twisted, twisted place Gary. You sure you want to come down here and taint yourself with all of this craziness?by egra099 - The Hunting Camp
Sergio is the second guys name who did the finding Kent. Don't feel bad for forgetting the name, I only introduced you to what, twenty people on the first day alone? You kind of got thrown into the fire. Something Kent didn't mention here, as I'm sure he didn't want to step on any toes, is that Marty had a traumatic brain injury when he was younger. He's fairly high functioning, but you can telby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You should of told me this before Kent was down here. I would have wrangled him into at least one night of cooking. As it was we ate at several local BBQ places(though the two towns nearby each only have a couple of thousand people, there are more Bar B Que restersants between them than you could count on your fingers and toes together) . One, where the lamb ribs and Cabrito sausage were particulby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gorgeous Gary. I don't care how expensive a CNC machine is used. Craftsmanship like that will never be duplicated by a machine. You just can't get that look/fit with ones and zeros.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
That is yet another amazing finish Gary. I would have commented earlier, but I didn't want to seem like I was pandering to much just to get to see the Case Hardening . It really is beautiful. Rick, All of the small town schools here in TX still give off the Friday before, and Monday after, opening weekend of deer season as well. Although it causes problems because it coincides with the finalby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
You couldn't have put the one up with my good side Kent? That slug/gun combo really did a number on this pig. It relieved any sliver of doubt that I had remaining on the potential lack of effectiveness of these guns on the larger Axis, pigs, etc. Gary, You should have seen the OLD set up. Steel building with a walk in cooler in one quarter; stainless tables, meat saws, grinders, etc. in anothby egra099 - The Hunting Camp
Gary, A hat would really tie the pictures together. After thinking it through, I'm pretty sure lack of proper head gear is what caused the issues with the hog the other day.If there are any other guns you want taken out in the field, just send them my way. Heck, you could have a "field proven" model/designation. "Every gun is field proven tough enough for the hunt". Oh yeah, that has a ring tooby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum

Since my Hog incident a couple of days ago (see earlier story in the Hunt section) I've been feeling the need for redemption. I had a friend in town for the weekend who had decided he would rather go after a big whitetail then the Axis he had previously requested, so the Axis I had scouted became mine. For people not familiar with Exotics, Axis are an Indian deer that were first imported into Texby egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary, my friend and I were comparing the pictures to his 1886 I was telling you about. We have a match for sure. The way you got the blue's and grey's mixed in makes it look almost identical. The Winchester is TRUE case hardening too IIRC. We spent so much time ogling over the pictures this morning that we were late getting to the blinds .by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary that looks amazing. You nailed it. Thank God I didn't say "black". It will make for many, many interesting hours of staring in the deer blind. I can't wait to see it in person.by egra099 - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
