Brrrrrr, we are into our first month of summer Gary, but now I feel chilled... I thought something was wrong with that first photo, it looked kinda sideways, then I realised it is just that we are on different sides of the world. Amazing what gravity does, and the Coriolis effect of course... Hehe Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Spectacular! But it must be time to cut and run? The purchaser will see a fine product and ignore the odd minor blemish.....problem is, Gary, you are a perfectionist, which is why your guns are what they are....... Anyway, all the best for the home run Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Now that's what you have been waiting for Gary! Come to think of it, so have the rest of us! Good kill... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy Thanksgiving to all....it's not a New Zealand tradition but I recognise the importance and wish you all the best. I guess my local Thanksgiving surprise was that last evening I sighted a fallow deer just 120 yards up the valley from my shooting bench! I have lived within the harbour basin for around 30 years and have never seen a wild deer until now. I think this one has my name on it Ofby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary If it helps, both Julie and I have just gone down with the dreaded lurgy, in sympathy for you and Kelly I guess! You are not alone....... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good work! Hope you're feeling better after those migraines. I can imagine the speed with which you will be bugging out to BPS when the time comes I have a week off. Several days of chopping noxious gorse and broom are threatening, but maybe some shooting too! Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Happy Monday Gary, though it's Tuesday here and Guy Fawkes night, so I guess there will be sky rockets and crackers going off a fair bit of the night! I like your childhood story and can think of many crazy dangerous things we did as kids and somehow survived. Actually, I can think of many crazy dangerous things I did as a teenager and adult and somehow survived! Occasionally still doing them. Iby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Me too, I would have liked to have known it was accurate before they took me off to hospital to repair my dislocated shoulder... Hehe, that is pretty amazing Doug! Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary what is that in your mouth? Are you eating a golf club?by neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Seriously Gary, your buyers would be gob-smacked if they knew the love and care and detail and hard yakker that has gone into the refurbishment of your house!! Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
The new owners will have a house that is maintenance-free for about the next century....nothin' to do but sit on the front porch and smokeby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary I think we are now getting past the earthquakes finally. I feel I can now run up the hill without worrying about boulders coming down, and the general calmness of the earth allows us to get on with business generally. There is still a continuing state of dislocation, but that has become part of life as we work from new places and negotiate new road-works daily as they replace sewers andby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gary I ran a couple of marathons when I was younger (best time 2 hours 54 mins). The last 6 miles were the hardest! Hope they go better for you Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice work Gary! Another piece of the puzzle..... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Thanks Gary, Lon and Julio I'm pretty lucky to live where I do, that's for sure. The Falcon is a special little gun that is always dependable and a pleasure to shoot. And very quiet so my hunting does not disturb my wife or neighbours Cheers Neilby neilmcp - The Hunting Camp
Gary, posted some hunting exploits in the Hunting Section.... Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I spotted a hare across the valley first thing in the morning a week or so back, and there was only a light breeze, so I got out the Falcon .22 The hare lasered at 115 yards, sitting on the hillside directly above the Falcon barrel in the pic above. The Falcon did its job quickly and quietly It was nice to see our furry friends out and about finally. My next attempt at distance was a faiby neilmcp - The Hunting Camp
Gary, just in the last few days a bunny or 4 have fallen to the Falcon at distance. I'll try to get a post together shortly to liven up your hunting section Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Stone-age tools? I saw that hammer in your hand...looks to me like it was cast in bronze Another step towards completion....considering you have pretty much rebuilt the whole house you must be getting fairly close to calling the realtor? Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Looking good Gary, I particularly like that door! Getting hot here down-under, today I turned the heat pump on to heat the swimming pool so we should be swimming next weekend What sort of temperatures will you expect in BPS over winter? Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nice to know things are working out down at BPS in your absence. Especially that drainage project. Not long now! Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Very nice work Gary. Looks like we don't need to worry about you having forgotten how..... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Good work Gary, inching closer to the end-game... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Gee, all those white tiles make me want to have a shower! Do I have to wait till after grouting Gary,do I,do I????by neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Nah, that's John Travolta!!!by neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
I think your semi-lifeless bodies will have to be moved completely off site Gary, as they may not be a good selling point. Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Whew, another room nearly finished! I know you have 3 storeys to contend with, but how many rooms are there, or would you prefer not to count? Regards Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Great looking repair-work Gary. Those floors are special.... Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Hi Gary I'm learning to shoot with a pistol...so different to rifles but fun to learn. The other day I shot 3 HP's into less than 1" at 40 yards (rested) off one fill, but Danny can do 5 so I have work to do... I'm getting my casting sorted and I'm pretty happy with my results now Cheers Neilby neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
Last trailer......that must be a HUGE relief!by neilmcp - Airgun Rendezvous Main Forum
